  • RHE Workshop

    Tue 23 Nov 2021 Mrs J L Dickerson

    Dear Parents/Carers,

    Relationship and Health Education Workshop

We are pleased to let you know that our school has decided to adopt the programme, Life to the Full, produced by the Christian educational organisation, Ten Ten Resources. This is to ensure we are covering the statutory guidance set out by the DFE to teach our pupils about Relationship Education.

The Life to the Full programme is based on the structure of ‘A Model Christian Relationship and Health Education Curriculum’ by the Christian Education Service. This model curriculum was highlighted as a work of good practice by the Department of Education so we therefore have confidence that the programme will be fit for purpose in supporting the growth and development of your child.

The focus of the scheme is to teach the fundamental building blocks and characteristics of positive relationships, with particular reference to friendships, family relationships, and relationships with other children and with adults.

Life to the Full is much more than a series of lessons. It is an entire platform of creative resources that will engage, inform and inspire our children and, indeed, you as parents. This includes interactive video content, story-based activities, employing a wide range of teaching tools, original worship music and an accompanying programme of classroom prayers.

We would like to warmly invite you to a Relationship and Health Education workshop being held here at St Luke’s on Friday 10th December at 2:00pm. This will be an opportunity for us to share the scheme’s content and resources with you and also answer any questions you may have about this programme.

    Kind Regards
