St Luke's School Development Plan

St Luke's School Development Plan 2020-21

It has not been possible to follow the normal process when putting together this plan. What usually happens is that we update our self-evaluation statement (SEF) over the summer term, as the most important means of identifying the priorities for the school development plan for the new school year in the autumn.

This year, we have had to follow a different process. We still have a clear rationale for the choice of priorities for the 2020-2021 plan.

The evidence that we have drawn on includes:

  • analysis of pupil attainment and progress external data from summer 2019 and internal data for the 2019-2020 school year
  • evaluation of the 2019-2020 school development plan
  • the lessons learned from our work on home learning to develop blended delivery of the curriculum
  • further research into the above and analysis of feedback from parents/carers on their experience of home learning in June and July 2020
  • observations and scrutiny of children’s learning and their written work, as well as consideration of teacher feedback on pupils’ readiness for return to school, including the state of their mental health and well-being.
