Week 3
This week we have been looking at the book ‘The Detective Dog’. The children really enjoyed this story. At the start of the week, someone had taken our books from our reading corner and the children had to become detectives to find out where our books are. They were really good at working together as a team.
The nursery children were really good in math’s this week looking at triangles. They were really good at spotting them on their eye spy worksheet and in the classroom. In phonics this week, we have been developing our understanding of instrumental sounds. The children had a go at making patterns and having a go at ‘I am a music man’. They really enjoyed singing to this song.
To make our muscles stronger in our hands we have been doing dough disco and the children really enjoyed moulding the dough in many different ways to the music.
