Week 1
This week in nursery we have started off our topic this term about our amazing animals and the amazing world we live in. This week we have been looking at penguins and where they live. We have been learning about Antarctica and how cold it is there. The children have enjoyed dressing up in coats and hats and sitting in our igloo in the reading corner.
In maths this week, we have been revisiting our understanding of numbers 1 to 5. The children have been developing their counting skills and some children have been subitising. Well Done Nursery!
In PE this week, nursery have enjoyed throwing and catching using a ball and a beanbag. They really enjoyed taking part in the different ball games.
In Literacy this week, the children had a go at drawing our own penguin. I have to say the children drew amazing penguins and are starting to have excellent pencil control when drawing the different details on our penguins. We have some amazing artists in nursery!
