  • Special Visitor

    Wed 28 Nov 2018 Mrs J Dickerson

On Monday we were delighted and honoured to welcome The Bishop of Manchester into our school.

He was given a full guided tour of our school and spent time with the children from our School Council and our Peer Mentors.

We were very impressed with some of the wonderful questions the children had to ask.

At the end of the visit The Bishop joined us in prayer which was a very special occasion.

We really hope we can welcome The Bishop of Manchester back into school soon.

  • Visitors at St Luke's!

Mon 19 Nov 2018 Miss Bolton

Last we we had a very busy week and we welcomed a number of important visitors into St Luke's!

On Thursday, we had a visit from Bishop Mark who was amazed by the fantastic work our school councillors and peer mediators are doing around school. Well done!

On Friday we also had some very special visitors. We were joined by the team from Google who presented a super assembly all about staying safe online. They were also joined by our Local MP James Frith! The children showed off their fantastic knowledge of E-safety and I know all of our visitors were blown away!

  • Remembrance Day

Mon 12 Nov 2018 Miss Bolton

Today we gathered together to remember those who have lost their lives or have been affected by War. Children and staff came together at 11am to observe a two minutes silence and to listen to thoughtful prayers read by Ms Michael.
