Week 5
This week, we have been looking at how vets help us within our community. The children really enjoyed dressing up as vets and helping our teddy animals get better. This week, we had a special visitor called Jack. He has been showing nursery about his job as a paramedic and how he helps people within our community.
Nursery have been celebrating Lunar New Year this week by getting involved in different activities and trying out different Chinese foods. The children really enjoyed the prawn crackers and the sweet and sour sauce. Nursery children have been learning about why celebrate Lunar New Year and they have enjoyed creating their own Chinese dragons.
In maths this week, we have been looking at the number 5! The children were really good at putting 5 stickers on their T-shirt for number 5. We have been looking at the pentagons this week and looking at how many sides do they have. The children were really good at finding pentagons around the classroom.
