Week 6
This week we have been focusing on the book ‘Owl Babies’ and we have enjoyed reading this story. We have enjoyed playing in the themed tuff tray and we did amazing colouring too. We have developed our cutting skills this week by cutting on different types of lines to get to the owl. The children have painted an owl each which we have displayed on a long branch linked to our reading tree. It looks amazing!
For our phonics this week, we have been focusing on listening to everyday sounds. We really enjoyed having our own checklist and matching the sound to the correct picture. The children were amazing listeners!
We have also been looking about ‘What makes us special’ and we had a go at learning our friends names in our class in circle time. We have had an amazing week!
