Week 4
This week we have had an exciting week because the Gruffalo came to our school. The children were very excited to see the footprints and the CCTV picture of the Gruffalo coming into our school. The children looked everywhere for the Gruffalo but we think he is hiding. The children have been making their own Gruffalo and making marks from the story. What an amazing week we have had!
In our maths this week, we have been looking at the number 2. The children had a go at tracing the number 2 and trying to draw 2 objects on the board. In our phonics, we have been looking at creating our own monsters and giving them a sound. The children loved colouring their own monster in and giving them a loud or quiet sound. We had some noisy monsters. Well done Nursery! 👏
For PE this week, the children have been developing their throwing and catching skills. The children were very good at catching the beanbag. Nursery really enjoy coming into the big hall to do PE.
