Week 7
This week, we have been celebrating Cubby’s birthday and the children have been busy preparing for his birthday. Nursery have made cards, presents, decorations and a big delicious cake for Cubby to have on his birthday. On Friday, we celebrated his birthday and the children had an amazing time celebrating.
In our maths this week, we have been looking at matching pairs and looking at different colours, shapes and sizes. Children were amazing at finding the right pair and able to recognise that they are both the same.
In phonics this week, we have been using our listening ears to listen to different animal and transport sounds. The children were amazing at recognising the different sounds and able to match the right picture to the sound.
What a great week to end our first term here at St Luke’s. Well Done Nursery!
