• St Luke's Easter Church Service

  Here at St Luke's we love to celebrate Easter and one of our favourite ways to do this is by joining together at our Easter Church service. 

  The children had a fantastic time sharing prayers, singing our beautiful hymns and watching our wonderful speakers Reverend Gordon and Paul Schofield. 

   

  

• Year 5's Terrific Trip to the Science and Industry Museum!

  This week 5D and 5B had the amazing opportunity to explore the world of Science at the Manchester Science and Industry Museum! 

  We explored a number of exhibitions, watched a super show about forces and even saw Tim Peake's actual space shuttle!

  Christine said 'I really enjoyed the trip, it was interesting and I know how important science is in our lives'

  Sam said 'I loved the forces and flight show, especially when we had the race to help us understand friction!'

   

  

• 3B's Amazing attendance Prize!

  This week 3B had their fantastic free trip to the Bowling Centre! They had a wonder attitude and worked together as a team to attend school every day. Because of their resilience, they had the highest attendance and were able to choose their own trip for free! Well Done 3B!

  

• 1M Celebrate their differences in their Class Assembly!

  This week the whole school enjoyed a fantastic class assembly from 1M! They reminded us that we are all special in our own unique way and we should celebrate our differences. Their loud and clear voices blew us away, Well Done 1M!

  

• World Book Day

  Today we have celebrated World Book Day! The children came dressed as their favourite book character and have enjoyed a day of reading activities such as acting as the character, book reviews and Reading Eggs! There was a winner from each class who also won a book.
