Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
In our Foundation Unit playground there is a large shed. This shed was looking very dull and boring so Mrs Heaven, our Nursery teacher, held a school competition to come up with a beautiful design for the side of the shed. Lots and lots of children entered and judging was extremely difficult. Three children were chosen as runners-up, each getting a Smyths voucher: Irsha (5B), Ayaan (3F) and Alice (1L).
The winner of the competition was Sophia from 4M! Well done! Sophia's artwork has now been painted onto the shed and it looks amazing!
Last term St Luke's had a competition to see which class could have the most improved attendance. On the last day of term, two classes were announced victorious: Nursery PM and 4H! The teachers from these classes picked out a winner to win a bike! Well done to Saif from Nursery and Haseeb from 4H!
Next term the classes that have the most improved attendance will win a free trip of their choice! Make sure you are in school every day to be in with a chance!
We aim to maximise attendance for all pupils. Pupils with lower attendance make lower rates of progress and are at risk of not attaining the expected standards. Please note the dates below to ensure that you are supporting your child's education.
