Sports Day 2019
The sun is shining so we are very hopeful that the Great British weather is not going to get in the way of Sports Day 2019.
Sports Day will be held at Lower Gigg playing fields over the course of tomorrow, Wednesday 19th June.
This year we are being supported by our wonderful sports coaches from Edstart so it is sure to be a spectacular event.
Reception, Year One and Year Two will be from 9:00am until 11:45am.
Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 will be from 1:00pm until approximately 3:00pm.
All parents and carers are welcome to come and join us down at Lower Gigg to watch their child/children taking part. If you take any photographs or videos please do not share them on any form of social media.
Nursery children will be having a mini Sports Day here in school both in the morning and afternoon but due to space constraints we will be unable to accommodate parents and carers.
All children will be walked to Lower Gigg and back by school staff. No children will be allowed to be taken home from Lower Gigg – all children must return to school.
Should the weather change and we find that we have to postpone Sports Day we will notify parents and carers via Parenthub by 8:30am. (If you have not downloaded the app there are posters all round school that show you how to do so).
