Dear Parents/Carers,
Firstly I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support with the sudden closure of the Nursery classes this morning. This is not a decision that was taken lightly but we unfortunately had no other option.
In the light of continued, and sustained, staff absence it is with regret that we have had to make the decision to keep the Nursery closed on Monday 31st January and Tuesday 1st February as we will not have the staff to look after the children.
We will be closely monitoring staffing levels over the weekend and at the start of next week and we very much hope we can open the Nursery later next week but unfortunately I am not in a position to guarantee that this will happen at present.
I hope you can understand that this has been an incredibly difficult decision and we have looked at many other options to try and re-open Nursery on Monday but we just do not have the staffing capacity to do so safely.
We will seek to update you at the start of next week once we have re-evaluated staffing.
I am very grateful for the continued support from our parent/carer community and I can only apologise for any inconvenience this closure may cause.
