Manchester Sings!
Manchester Sings was an event organised by Withington Girls School and saw 7 schools from across Greater Manchester perform a special concert at Manchester cathedral. The concert was to raise money for local homeless charities and the children, led by WGS Music Director, Gilly Sargent, learnt 6 songs.
Mrs Edwards, who leads the choir said, 'I was so proud of the choir! they conducted themselves in a professional way, and sang with such passion. They definitely did St. Luke's proud.'
Withington Girls School also created some beautiful poems, thank you for allowing us to join in this wonderful event.
