Week 1
Happy New Year!!
Welcome back to Spring 1. Reception have had a super busy first week back. Everyone settled back in really well. This week we enjoyed the snow and had great fun making and throwing snowballs and catching snowflakes. In UTW we have been learning all about the season of Winter. We talked about changes we could see and what we need to wear in Winter. In EAD we created cold collages, using collage materials that made us feel cold and we practiced colour mixing to make cold colour snowflakes.
In Drawing Club we read The Magic Porridge Pot. At the end of the week Mrs Green brought some porridge for us to make and taste. Yum, yum!!
In RE we are starting to learn about how God created the world and we made our very own world collage to help us remember.
