Week 2
This week in Nursery, we have had a wonderful time learning and exploring together.
We thoroughly enjoyed reading How to Look After Your Dinosaur. The children did a fantastic job remembering the important tips from the story and were excited to talk about how to care for a dinosaur!

Our sound of the week!
In phonics, we focused on the sound ‘u’. The children engaged really well in a range of fun activities to help them recognise and use this sound, showing great enthusiasm throughout.
Our creative area was very busy, with the children making beautiful umbrella collages using a variety of materials linking to our phonics this week. Their creativity really shone through in their artwork. Well Done Nursery!
The children also worked incredibly hard on their mountain challenges this week, showing determination and independence. In maths, they impressed us by confidently sorting 3D shapes and beginning to recognise and name them.
It has been a fantastic week in Nursery, and we are very proud of all the children’s efforts!
