Week 4

What a busy week we have had in Nursery!

This week, Nursery really enjoyed our story, 'Doctorsaurus'. The children showed lots of kindness and care towards the dinosaurs who were hurt or feeling poorly.

Our book of the week!

Our sound of the week!

In phonics, we have been learning our new sound, (h). Nursery got fully involved in the activities and even had a go at creating their own horse to link with our new sound. We were so impressed with their enthusiasm and effort!

In PE, we have been busy practising for our upcoming Sports Day. The children have been learning about the rules and how to take part in the different races. Nursery were amazing at trying their very best and showed great determination throughout.

The children also enjoyed completing their Mountain Challenges this week. They are becoming increasingly confident at signing off their challenges once they have completed them. Well done, Nursery!

During Scribble It, Noodle and Titch wanted to create a new ambulance for Doctorsaurus to use. Nursery came up with some fantastic drawings and even had a go at writing some of the sounds we have been learning. This is wonderful to see!

On Wednesday, we welcomed our parents and carers into Nursery for a Phonics Stay and Play session. It was lovely to see the children confidently showing their families what we do during our phonics sessions and taking part in the activities together.

Well done, Nursery, for another fantastic week!
