We welcomed our grown ups in again for our Monday morning stay and play session. We love starting off the week with our grown ups and lots of fun and exciting reading and phonics activities!!
Today we have been continuing to learn all about ladybirds linked to our book of the week What the ladybird heard. We practised our cutting skills to make our own ladybird and learnt how to draw a ladybird by following instructions.
In Maths we have started to revisit our counting skills. We have been mastering the five key principles:
one-to-one correspondence (touch counting), stable order (number names in sequence), cardinality (last number is the total), abstraction (counting anything), and order irrelevance.
We helped Ben with his counting. Mrs Green was very impressed with our maths work today!!
We are loving our new Mountain Challenges this week. We can't wait to get to the top of the mountain!!!
we are continuing to practice our handwriting and letter formation. This week we have been using Handwriting Repeater to practice our letters.
