This week in Nursery, the children really enjoyed reading 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears.' They used story props to act out the different characters, showing great imagination and understanding of the story. Well done, Nursery!
In RE, we explored a story called “What Are Mouths For?”, which focused on Jesus and the gifts we have been given. The children shared some lovely ideas about what we use our mouths for, such as being kind and talking to our friends. To follow on from the story, Nursery created their own mouths using collage materials and explained one thing they are grateful for that they can do with their mouths.
In Scribble It, the children had the opportunity to invent a new cottage for Goldilocks to live in. Nursery drew some fantastic cottages and did a great job explaining the extra details they had added. Well done, Nursery!
In Phonics this week, we focused on voice sounds. The children explored the different sounds they can make with their mouths and really enjoyed playing voice sound bingo with Miss Latham.
Another wonderful week of learning in Nursery — well done, everyone! 🌟🏡🐻
