This week in Nursery, we began our new topic 'Bears and Birthdays'. Our focus story was 'Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?' and the children really enjoyed joining in with the repeated phrases throughout the story.
At the start of the week, Nursery learned all about Road Safety and discussed important rules to help keep us safe. The children created colourful traffic lights using a range of materials to collage their artwork.
In Maths, we introduced the number 1 through a variety of fun activities. Nursery made fantastic Number block 1 models and were able to recognise the colour of Number block 1 as well.
In Scribble It, the children were excited to draw a picture of one of their friends in class, linking to our story this week. Nursery enjoyed drawing their friends and showed great awareness by naming their friends.
