Lunar New Year 2026
To finish our Lunar New Year celebrations we decided to learn about, cook and taste some Chinese Foods. We learnt how to make Stir Fry. We talked about the different ingredients and how to prepare them. We used carrots, peppers, green beans, bean sprouts, rice noodles and soy sauce.
Miss Callaghan brought in her wok from home to cook our delicious food in. We loved making stir fry but we loved tasting it with prawn crackers even more!!!!

Drawing Club
During learning time we make some fantastic models and creations. We wanted Mrs Green to take a photograph of our work. Instead, Mrs Green showed us how to use the I Pad to take our own photos of our work!!
In Maths we have continued looking at shapes. We have been looking at squares, rectangles, circle and triangles. We have been describing and sorting them. We really enjoyed the challenges Mrs Green set for us on Tuesday afternoon!!

Independent Learning Time
Mrs Green gave us our very own Busy Books today. We wrote our names on and can use them to draw, write and create in. We loved using them today!
We went on a Shape Hunt. We were looking for squares and rectangles. Look what we found........
World Book Day 2026
On Thursday 5th March we celebrated World Book Day. We came dressed as our favourite characters and took part in lots of exciting activities. We went on a Bear Hunt, designed our own bookmarks, created a number bug and designed our own elephants to celebrate Elmer Day and created our own Zog dragons in the playdough. We also read Naughty Bus and created London in our classroom!!
We had so much fun!!!
