This week in Nursery, the children have been learning all about Autumn as we began our new term. Our focus story was “Spot’s Pumpkin Surprise”, and by the end of the week the children did a fantastic job remembering what happened in the story. Well done, Nursery!
Our book of the week!
The children were very excited to have real pumpkins in the classroom. They had the opportunity to help carve our pumpkins and voted for them to have happy faces. They looked amazing! Nursery also enjoyed tasting pumpkin soup at snack time, which was very delicious!
In Scribble It this week, Noodle and Titch asked the children to invent a new face for a pumpkin. The children created some wonderful and imaginative pumpkin faces. In Maths, we explored sorting different coloured objects by size and shape. It was lovely to see the children working together as a team while developing these skills.
What a fantastic start to our Autumn 2 term — we have had lots of fun this week! 🎃🍂
