Week 8

We have made it to the last week of our first half term in Reception!!

This week we have been learning about the Hindu festival of Diwali. We watched a video on Cbeebies telling us how Hindu's celebrate Diwali. We made our own Diwali cards to send home, we made salt dough diya pots, we decorated hands with mehndi and built our own Hindu temples in the construction area. We learnt so much about this festival of light!!
