Week 8
To end our term this week, our topic this week was all about different types of houses and homes. Nursery enjoyed reading 'My House' and were amazing at recognising the different parts of the story by the end of the week. Nursery have been learning what types of rooms you may find in a house and different shapes of houses.
Our book of the week!
In Scribble It this week, Nursery invented their own houses and used different types of marks to represent the different shapes on their houses. They looked fantastic! We had lots of houses with big windows and beautiful gardens.
On Friday, Nursery got involved in a 'Colour Day' and we got involved in many different activities based on the colours we have learnt. Nursery enjoyed making a colourful kebab using different types of fruits. Nursery really enjoyed having bananas, grapes and strawberries on their kebab stick.
