Week 6
This week, Nursery have been exploring the book 'My Hair'. The children have been learning all about different hairstyles and hair colours. Nursery enjoyed using mirrors to look closely at their own hair and their friends’ hair. The children especially loved engaging in our hairdressers role-play area, where it was lovely to see them sharing resources and taking turns to do each other’s hair.

We also introduced 'Scribble It' this week. Nursery were very excited to meet our new friends, Titch and Noodle. Titch and Noodle challenged the children to invent their own hairstyles, and Nursery were amazing at creating their own hair using a variety of marks and patterns.
In maths this week, we have been learning all about the colour blue. Nursery took part in a range of fun activities focused on the colour blue and created some bright blue fish using paint and wax crayons.
Nursery have also had lots of fun in our outdoor environment. The children worked together as a team to create an obstacle course and enjoyed exploring the outdoor area together.
