Week 5

What an exciting week Reception have had!!!

We started off with our Monday morning Reading and Phonics Stay and Play BUT.... we extended this to celebrate National Storytelling Week. Grown ups stayed for our Story and Craft session. We read Goldilocks and the Three Bears and made our own story sacks to take home and keep!!

In Phonics we have been continuing to learn more new sounds. We have learnt oi, ear, air and ure!! Our new workbooks arrived on Tuesday and we were excited to start using them on Wednesday.

In Drawing Club we have been reading Aliens love Underpants - one of our favourite stories. We had great fun creating our very own aliens!!

In Maths we have been looking at numbers to 5. We have been matching numerals to amounts and we have been ordering numbers to 5.

On Friday we celebrated NSPCC Number Day. We came dressed as a number and took part in lots of exciting number activities!

In RE we have continued looking at The Creation Story.

On Tuesday we also joined in with the rest of school dressing up for TTRS day. We loved being rockstars and had so much fun.
