Week 5
This week we have begun the countdown for Christmas.
We have got our advent calendars out ready to countdown, the cheeky elf has made an appearance and he has decorated our classroom with a new tree and lots of sparkly lights.
The children are very excited to come to school and see what the cheeky elf has been up too.
In Drawing Club we have been reading 'The Christmas Pine' by Julia Donaldson. We have watched videos to explore the stages of a pine tree growing. We really enjoyed watching this.
We have started to practice our nativity, singing our songs and some of us have got some special lines to say. We are so proud and very excited to show you all this, we have worked really hard practising everything.
We have also had a Christmas Craft afternoon with our adults where Miss Callaghan put our twinkle lights on with lots of blankets, cushions and a fire place background whilst we read '10 Little Elves'. After we read the story we was able to create our very own elves using metallic coloured shape paper.
