Week 5
This week, Nursery have been focusing on the book 'The Colour Monster'. The children have really enjoyed learning about different feelings and the coloured monsters that represent them. Nursery told Miss Latham that their favourite monsters are the happy (yellow) monster and the love (pink) monster. The children then created their own colourful monsters using different coloured paints to represent the feelings we may experience.

Nursery have also been developing their scissor skills this week to support their fine motor development. The children practised cutting along different lines on their coloured monsters and created some fantastic wavy and spiky hair designs.
In maths this week, we have been learning all about the colour red. Nursery took part in a range of fun activities based around the colour red and were amazing at finding red items around the room. Well done, Nursery!
