Week 5
This week in Reception Callaghan we have been reading The Three Little Pigs. We have been designing different types of houses for the pigs to live in, we used materials such as building bricks, playdoh, straw and twigs. We then put them to the test to see if the Big Bad Wolf could blow them down!! We had lots of houses that still stayed up!!
We have been continuing to subitise and look at numbers up to 5. We have also been practising our new sounds through lots of phonics games. We really enjoying fishing for our new sounds with our fish and finishing rods.
In RE we have looked at the Harvest Festival and why it is so important to celebrate, THANK YOU TO ALL that have kindly donated to school for our collection.
