Week 4
Another busy week in Reception Green. This week we have been celebrating International Dot Day. We enjoyed a day full of dotty activities. We also looked at the artist Yayoi Kusama and some of her dotty artwork. We then created our own dotty artwork!!
In Drawing Club we have been reading In Every House on Every Street, linked to our theme this half term of Houses and Homes. In EAD we made our own house collages and in UTW we looked at different types of houses and found our houses on Google Maps.
We have been practising our subitising skills in Maths and are really good at this!!
In phonics we are learning more new sounds and practising our oral blending as well as listening for initial sounds in words and sorting a variety of objects.
