Week 2
Another fantastic week in Reception Callaghan. This week we have created our own Class Promises as part of our daily routine. We also began our first drawing club book 'Pete the Cat rocking in my school shoes'. We learnt lots of new vocabulary and created some actions to follow to help us remember all of our new words. We found this really fun and created some imaginative actions.
We have started to learn some new sounds in our phonics ELS lessons.
In our UTW lessons we have sang a range of songs to learn different parts of our body such as 'Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes'. The children really enjoyed this and we even played Simon says to identify different parts of our body. We drew round our friends and then added features to the picture and we also used mirrors to paint portraits of ourselves. They were fantastic!!!
