Welcome back to Autumn 2!
We are so excited to be back, we have lots of fun exciting activities during this next half term. This week have have celebrated Pumpkin Day! To celebrate we explored different size pumpkins we had some small, medium, large and very large pumpkins.
Miss Callaghan cut open the top for us to have a look and explore inside. We looked at what they looked like inside and we was even brave enough to scoop the insides out using our hands. We described to each other in circle time what the inside of a pumpkin felt like some of us said "gooey" and "squishy".
We looked at Yayoi Kusama artwork again to decorate the outside of the pumpkins using bingo pens, circle stickers, circle glitter foam stickers and circle gems.
We also spent some time looking at bonfire night, what it is and how we can stay safe during the magical time.
We created our own firework pictures using washi glitter tape on black card and glitter. We talked about the similarities between both Bonfire Night and Diwali the festival of light.
In Drawing Club this week we looked at our new book 'Room on the Broom'. We loved reading this book and creating some magical cauldron pictures.
In RE we looked at what a Baptism is, we looked at traditional clothing, presents and even created our own Baptism Ceremony with a baby doll.
