Year 6 Visit the Fusilier's Museum
As part of Year 6's topic work on World War II, this week the children visited the Fusilier's Museum in Bury. Whilst they were there, the children completed two workshops. The first was all about the home front and how people in England supported the war efforts. The second workshop was lead by Paul, a soldier who talked about the weapons that were used in WWII. The children had a fantastic time and this trip helped to consolidate their learning.
