Week 1
What an exciting first week back after half term. In Maths we continued our work on measures. We have been looking at long and short, tall and short and are now looking at weight. We loved being human scales and exploring heavy and light.
In Drawing Club we read Titch and compared different sizes.
We started to learn about planting and growing. We planted cress seeds and watched them grow quickly. We talked about what seeds need to help them grow!!
Mrs Shafiq came to talk to use about the holy month of Ramadan. She explained what happened and why Muslims fast for 30 days. We made Ramadan Mubarak gifts to take home to our families.
