Week 2
This week we have been reading Jack and the Beanstalk. We have planted our own magic beans and are hoping they will grow into a tall beanstalk.
In Maths we have started to look at Number Bonds to 10.
We learnt about Shrove Tuesday. We learnt how to make pancakes, we took part in pancake races and we tasted pancakes with different toppings!!
Ahead of World Book Day on Thursday, we started each morning inviting our grown ups in for a reading themed stay and play session. These were very popular and several of our grown ups came to all of the sessions - thank you!!
We celebrated World Book Day by dressing up as our favourite book character and taking part in lots of fun and exciting book themed activities.
To end the week we created some Jack and the Beanstalk artwork.
