Dear Parents/Carers,

 

Christmas 2022

 

As we all know this time of year is incredibly busy and exciting in school, and this year is no different! We have got lots on over the next week and a half both for the children and for their families.

 

Please find below details of all the fantastic things happening between now and 16th December 2022! We are asking for donations for charity for some of these activities but we understand that this can be difficult at this time of year so please only give what you can afford.

 

Thursday 8th December

 

Christmas Jumper day for Save the Children – all children can come to school in a Christmas jumper in return for any donation you can afford that we can send to Save the Children.

 

Bury College Pantomime – Children in 2B and 5L (children can still wear their Christmas Jumpers).

 

Monday 12th December

 

EYFS Nativity (Nursery and Reception) at 2:15pm

 

Tuesday 13th December 2022

 

Year 5 Final Swimming Session – Children will be going to finish their lessons in the morning, record their achievements and have fun in the pool! Thank you to Castle Leisure Centre for fitting us in!

 

Key Stage One Nativity (Year One and Year Two) at 9:30am

 

SANTACEPTOR Visit for EYFS and KS1 from 10:00amA HUGE Thank you to the parent in Year 1 who nominated us to win a visit from the Santaceptor! In return for the visit children can come into school in their own clothes in return for any donation that you can afford that will be given to Bury Hospice. Each child will receive a small gift during the visit!

 

Wednesday 14th December 2022

 

EYFS Nativity (Nursery and Reception) at 9:30am

Christmas Church Service at St. Peter’s for Year 1 – Year 6 at 9:30am

Lower Key Stage Two Nativity (Year 3 and Year 4) at 2:15pm

Christmas Dinner Day for all children on school dinners (and those that have ordered).

 

 

 

Thursday 15th December 2022

 

Key Stage One Nativity (Year One and Year Two) at 2:15pm

Upper Key Stage Two Nativity (Year 5 and Year 6) at 9:30am

 

Friday 16th December 2022

 

Christmas Party Day – whole school Christmas parties – children can come into school in their own clothes ready to celebrate Christmas and the end of term with their classmates. Any donations of food on the day will be very greatly received.

 

School Closes for Christmas Holidays at 3:15pm and re-opens on Tuesday 3rd January 2023.
