Week 5
This week, Nursery have been looking at the story ‘DoctorSaurus’. Nursery really enjoyed learning all about DoctorSaurus who helps her dinosaur friends when they are poorly. Nursery have enjoyed exploring our new dinosaur toys within our classroom. Nursery have also been making different marks for each of the dinosaurs within the story! Well Done!
On Monday, we celebrated ‘National Storytelling Week’. Each day, we had a different activity set from our favourite books we like to read. Nursery looked amazing in their costumes which linked to our favourite characters within the story. We had such a fun day all about reading and storytelling!
In our maths this week, we have started to look at the number 5. Nursery are amazing at counting up to 5. Nursery really enjoyed making a T-shirt for number 5. They were very dotty and colourful! On the Friday, we also celebrated NSPCC Number Day and got involved in some exciting maths activities!
