Week 3
What an exciting and busy week we have had in Reception!
In Drawing Club we have been reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar. We have been learning about the lifecycle of a butterfly and created our own lifecycle plates to help us remember and describe what happens. We also explored butterfly symmetry!
We started our Sunflower Challenge!! We planted our sunflower seeds and took them home. Mrs Green challenged us to care for our seeds and see who can grow the tallest sunflower!!!
We also learned about the famous artist Van Gogh and after looking at his painting of sunflowers, we created our own sunflower paintings.
In Maths we have been learning about one less and used the rhyme 10 Green Bottles to help us with our learning!!
