Week 3
This week, we have been looking at our new book of the week ‘Officer George’. Nursery have enjoyed reading all about how officer George helps people within our community. Nursery have been creating their own police cars outside using the outdoor materials. They looked amazing! We have also made our own police badge using a wide range of materials to make them colourful and stand out.
We have been learning about ‘past’ and ‘present’ this week linking to our topic. We have been looking at police cars and police uniform from the past and present. Nursery had a go at sorting the different pictures into past and present. You were all amazing Nursery!
In maths this week, we have been looking at the number 4. Nursery are superstars at recognising number 4 and also counting objects up to 4. Nursery have enjoyed going on a number 4 hunt inside and outside of our Nursery. Well Done Nursery!
In phonics this week, we have been using instruments to match the different sounds that you hear within ‘peace at last’ and ‘We’re going on a bear hunt’. Nursery are amazing at naming the instruments that we was using within our stories.
