Week 2
Here are Nursery’s highlights from this week. We’ve had a fun and exciting time learning all about firefighters and discussing how important their role is within our community. The children especially enjoyed designing and creating their own fire engines!🚒
Our Book of the Week!
In phonics, we focused on the ‘a’ sound. By the end of the week, Nursery did an amazing job recognising the sound and identifying words that begin with it. Well done, Nursery! 🐜👩🚀🚑🍎 It was lovely to see the children having a go at writing our sound this week!
In Maths, we explored the number three. The children had great fun feeding our panda three pieces of food. He was certainly very full by the end of the day!
