Week 3
Reception have been working very hard this week. They have been learning new digraphs this and practising reading and writing them in words. In Drawing Club we watched the animation Mr Benn Zookeeper and completed our character, setting and adventures based around this. We loved Mr Benn and asked to watch more!! In maths we have been comparing more and fewer and have been using a ten frame to help us with our Power Maths challenges! We have been continuing to learn about cold place and have been learning about and comparing the Arctic and the Antarctic. We have been continuing to amaze Mrs Green with our 1:1 daily reading practise and are working really hard to practise our blending and segmenting to become confident and fluent readers!!
